Those who live in UAE must have residence(iqama) card on which at top right side the 7 or more digit UID number is clearly visible  So what is this Unified Id No. (UID) unified means united, uniform or merging whenever any expat enters in UAE he/she carries only entry permit with blank UID number space the number is than given by immigration department to expat this number is act as merger of residence Visa with ID card.

Those persons who entered directly in UAE through residence permit they don’t have UID number in order to get UID number first you must have to stamp you residence visa and than immigration department will provide your unified number.

What is the procedure to get UID number?

Carries your original passport with stamped residence entry permit and get the UID (unified identity number) from the immigration department during filling of application at the typing center. All applicant must be ensure with all information is typed correctly without any mistake. Be sure that you must have uid no written on your card if not must go back at typing centers to obtain uid number.
