If you wish to drive vehicle in any other country without applying for other country driving license than you need International driving license of UAE if you’r a resident of UAE. The international driving license can be obtained from ATCUAE Dubai, Sharjah, Abu Dhabi. UAE government officially approved ACTUAE for issuance of IDP. Many expatriates and resident don’t know about Actuae and get IDP from other unofficial sources which may get them in trouble while driving on that license in other country. International Driving license were established by UN to reduce the difficulties of travelers who want to drive vehicle in foreign country without applying for country specific driving license.

Actuae/Idp gives permission to holder to drive vehicle in any other part of the world unless the license is must be valid and official. How to Get Actuae/Idp
To obtain IDP from Actuae you need following documents:
A copy of passport
A copy of UAE-issued driving licence
Two photos Passport size
The main condition is that applicant must be holder of valid UAE driving license.
The Fee of IDP is 140 UAE Dirham While Validity is one YEAR.
There are no condition on nationality both expatriate and resident can easily apply for this license.
