The Abu Dhabi Labor Court was able to end a collective labor dispute in a company after visiting the workers’ housing site through the mobile court, taking legal action, and completing the delivery of the dues to employees.
The Abu Dhabi Labor Court has affirmed its keenness to expedite the termination of labor and collective cases and to facilitate the access of workers due to the needs of the workers in accordance with the directives of HH Sheikh Mansour Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Presidential Affairs. Issues and shorten litigation to achieve the primary objective of the fair justice system for all.
It also referred to the adoption of a clear and specific mechanism in coordination with the concerned authorities to ensure the speedy end of such disputes and give rights set forth in the law, without delay, within the framework. The UAE’s keenness to safeguard and protect the rights of workers and ensure their protection under the rule of law, meet all requirements and ensure the settlement of disputes in record time.
The court ruled that the dismissal of the cases against the defendant company was done by moving to the workers’ housing site through the mobile court, to facilitate them and without the need to review from headquarters of the court. All legal procedures were taken to ensure that workers receive their benefits according to law.
