Employees allowed to go to work from June 21

An official source at the Ministry of Interior stated that, based on what the relevant health authorities submitted regarding the measures taken by the Kingdom in the face of the new Coronavirus (Covid 19), and the possibility to change times of partial curfews and the return of some activities, while adhering to precautionary measures and preventive measures, a kind approval has been issued On the following:

First: From Thursday 5 Shawwal 1441 AH corresponding to May 28, 2020 AD until the end of Saturday 7 Shawwal 1441 AH corresponding to May 30, 2020 AD, the following is done:

Changing the permitting times to roam in all regions of the Kingdom, except the city of Makkah Al-Mukarramah, to become from six in the morning until three in the evening.

– Allowing transportation between regions and cities in the Kingdom by private car during the period of non-curfew.

In addition to the continuation of the activities exempted in the previous decisions; It is permitted to open some economic and commercial activities and conduct their activities during the grace period, in the following fields:

1- Wholesale and retail trade shops.

2- Commercial centers (malls).

– Emphasizing on continuing to prevent all activities that do not achieve physical distance, including: beauty salons, barber salons, sports and health clubs, recreational centers, cinemas, and other activities determined by the competent authorities.

Second: From Sunday 8 Shawwal 1441 AH corresponding to May 31, 2020 AD, until the end of Saturday 28 Shawwal 1441 AH corresponding to June 20, 2020 AD, the following is done:

Resuming of congregational prayers, Friday prayers in Second Phase

Changing the permitting times to roam in all regions of the Kingdom, except the city of Makkah Al-Mukarramah, to become from 6 in the morning until 8 in the evening.

The continuation of all activities excluded from previous decisions.

Lift the suspension of attendance to ministries, government agencies and private sector companies, and return to conducting their office activities in accordance with the controls set by the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development, in coordination with the Ministry of Health and relevant authorities.

Lifting the suspension of domestic flights, while adhering to the necessary precautions and preventive measures determined by the General Authority of Civil Aviation in coordination with the Ministry of Health and other relevant bodies.

Lifting the suspension of travel between regions by different means of transportation, with the commitment of the competent authorities to the precautionary measures and necessary preventive measures.

In addition to the continuation of the activities excluded in the previous decisions; It is permitted to open some economic and commercial activities and conduct their activities during the grace period, in the following fields:

1- Dine in restaurants, taking into account compliance with the precautionary procedures laid down by the competent authorities. 2- Dine in cafes, taking into account the commitment to the precautionary measures established by the competent authorities.

– Continuing to prevent all activities that do not achieve physical distance, including: beauty salons, barber salons, sports and health clubs, recreational centers, cinemas, and other activities determined by the competent authorities

– Continued application of social divergence procedures in public places at all times, and preventing gatherings for social purposes for more than fifty people, such as: wedding occasions and funeral councils and the like.

Third: Starting from Sunday, 29 Shawwal 1441 AH corresponding to June 21, 2020 AD, normal conditions in all regions and cities of the Kingdom will be returned to before the period of curfew procedures – except for the city of Makkah Al-Mukarramah – with full compliance with preventive health instructions and social divergence, and care to maintain Protecting the highest-risk groups from infection, especially for the elderly and those with chronic and respiratory diseases.

Fourth: With regard to the city of Makkah Al-Mukarramah; The procedures are applied in the first item starting from Sunday, 8 Shawwal 1441 AH corresponding to May 31, 2020 AD until the end of Saturday 28 Shawwal 1441 AH corresponding to June 20, 2020 AD, and the second item starting from Sunday 29 Shawwal 1441 AH corresponding to June 21, 2020 AD.

Fifth: Emphasizing on all citizens and residents in the Kingdom by taking all means and measures related to limiting the transmission of infection, such as wearing masks, hand-washing, sterilization and social separation.

Sixth: Mobility permits for necessary, emergency and other situations during the curfew period are obtained through the approved paper authorization form, electronic permits and the (Tawakulna) application that are added during curfew times, by requesting them through the official application (Tawakulna) for smartphones approved by the authorities Competent.

Seventh: To allow residents of neighborhoods to practice walking in their neighborhoods during the curfew period referred to in (first) and (secondly) above, while adhering to the necessary precautionary health measures and social distancing.

Eighth: The minor pilgrimage and the pilgrimage will continue to be suspended, and this will be reviewed periodically in light of health data.

Ninth: The suspension of international flights continues until further notice.

Tenth: All the above measures are subject to evaluation and periodic review by the Ministry of Health to consider extending any stage or returning to taking strict precautionary measures as required by the health data.

Eleventh: Punishments will be imposed on individuals and facilities that violate the decisions and instructions related to the measures to limit the spread of the new Corona virus (Covid 19).

The responsible source urged citizens, residents, and employers to sense responsibility, adhere to precautionary measures and preventive measures, and adhere to the directions issued by the competent authorities.
