Emirates ID is required in every step of your living in UAE whether you are opening a bank account, starting a company all of them before applying must want you uae id. For renewal of your old uae id or vehicle registration renewal and at immigration/passport department you must have to UAE id.

Follow this procedure to check your ID status
- Go to the official website of UAE identity Autority http://www.id.gov.ae/
- Than Go to the services tab
- Than click on E-services Box
- If you don’t find the title of status of UAE ID than directly go to this address http://www.id.gov.ae/en/services/e-services/id-card-status.aspx
- Here the two choices were given if you check using from National ID or Application numbers.
- Once you click check Status it will provide you a detail info about your application. The status show just like below screenshot.
