Eid Al Fitr holidays for the private sector 2018 in UAE

Starting of Eid holiday 2017 were determined by Shawwal Moon sighting, Private sector will enjoy two days of eid holidays that is first and second day of Shawwal tenth month of Islamic Calendar.

If the moon sighted on June 14 than next day will be Eid otherwise the Eid starts from June 16.

For More Detail, if eid starts from Friday june 15 employees of private sector will start work from June 19 Friday and even if eid starts from June 16 Saturday employees of the private sector will start work from June 19.

According to UAE Labour Laws EID Holidays Must be paid to workers.

This announcement is made in circular issued by Minister of Human Resources and Emiratisation

Public Sector Eid Holidays 2018:

The Eid Holidays for Public still yet to be confirmed by Federal Authority for Government Human Resources

According to Federal Authority for Government Human Resources Public sector Eid Holidays starts from June 15 to June 18 in case if Eid falls on Friday

While in case Eid falls on Saturday Holidays will starts from June 16 to June 19.
